Hansika Motwani Sparks Separation Rumours After Deleting Wedding Photos; Reports Claim She’s Living with Mother

Updated At: August 5, 2025 4:30 PM

Fans Notice Instagram Clean-Up and Silence from Both Hansika Motwani and Sohael

Mumbai, August 5, 2025

Actress Hansika Motwani has sparked speculation that she could be separating from husband Sohael Khaturiya, after fans noticed that the majority of Hansika’s wedding photos and videos had been deleted from her Instagram account. Hansika married Sohael in December, 2022. The wedding was extravagant enough to be made into a reality series, titled: Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama. Notably, since July 18, the actress has posted no content to her social media.

Hansika Motwani Social Media Activity Sparks Buzz

Fans began to chatter on social media about Haniska and Sohael deleting wedding content, which created speculation among fans about whether the couple was experiencing any issue with their marriage. Haniska had been sharing normal content most of the time; however, having less content to creep of Sohael has sparked some curiosity with fans regarding Sohael.

During the continued chatter on social media, articles noted that Hansika had moved out of a home she shared with Sohael, and Hansika is living with her mother. The articles had also noted Sohael is also living with his parents and had not moved in with Hansika, which seems strange, in that the couple had separate apartments from day one of their marriage, per the confirmed reason to continue to have privacy at the beginning of their marriage. Souces indicated this decision was more likely related to unevaluated issues.

Sohael Rejects Rumours, Remains Silent Publicly

When asked for a comment Sohael Khaturiya sent a very quick text message saying, “It is not true.” However, he did not clarify whether he was denying separation rumours, or just denying reports of them living apart. He is defunct on social media, having kept his social accounts inactive, and turned most accounts to private.

Flying High on Marriage Journey in the Public Eye

Moreover, Hansika and Sohael have had a longtime relationship in the limelight, with their wedding on the web series that called out multi-year friendship, and their friendship turned romance journey. While it was glamorous, and celebrated publicly, the recent media developments rekindled speculation that there may be growing pains in their married life.

For now, neither Hansika or Sohael have made any official statement clarifying the rumour. Although Hansika is still following her husband on Instagram, and has left a few previous posts open for viewing, the sheer number of wedding content deleted, and her current state of silence has left the fans wondering what is actually going on regarding their marriage.
