War 2 Set for OTT Premiere: After Smashing Box Office Records, Hrithik–Jr. NTR Starrer Heads to Netflix

The sixth installment in YRF Spy Universe continues its blockbuster run, now gearing up to entertain global audiences at home

After creating a storm at the box office, Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR’s action-packed spectacle War 2 is now preparing for its digital release. The film, which hit theaters on August 14, 2025, has already emerged as one of the biggest crowd-pullers of the year, and will soon be available for streaming on Netflix.

War 2 to Stream on Netflix

According to industry reports, the makers have sealed a deal with Netflix for the OTT release of War 2. However, fans will have to wait a little longer—since the film will drop on the platform only after completing eight weeks of its theatrical run. This move is expected to give the movie an extended audience reach worldwide.

The film’s box office journey has been nothing short of phenomenal, showcasing the massive draw of Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR’s pairing:

  • Day 2: ₹57.35 crore
  • Day 3: ₹33.25 crore
  • Day 4: ₹32.15 crore
  • Day 5: ₹8.4 crore
  • Day 6: ₹5 lakh (early estimates)

So far, War 2 has amassed a total of ₹183.65 crore, cementing its status as one of the year’s biggest hits.
