Dr. S.K. Pandey of MERI College Receives Teachers’ Award

Dr. S.K. Pandey was felicitated by Somendra Harsh, Anshu Harsh, Sudhir Mathur, and others in a programme organised jointly by Thar Sarvodaya Sansthan, Simply Jaipur, and Raghu Sinha Mala Mathur Charitable Trust.

Six great personalities who have done remarkable work in the field of education, along with 164 teachers/professors from across the country, were honored in a program organized at Rangayan, Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur on September 6 under the joint aegis of Thar Sarvodaya Sansthan, Simply Jaipur, and Raghu Sinha Mala Mathur Charitable Trust.

Six great personalities were awarded the Mala Mathur Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award, and 164 teachers/professors from across the country were honored with the Principals and Teachers Award 2025, which also included senior journalist and media educator Dr. S.K. Pandey, who is presently working as HoD, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Management Education and Research Institute, MERI College, New Delhi (Affiliated to GGSIP University).

The six great personalities who were honored with the Mala Mathur Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award include Dr. Kanta Ahuja, former Vice Chancellor of Rajasthan University, Jaipur, and MDS University, Ajmer; Prof. ND Mathur, Vice Chancellor of Vivekanand Global University, Jaipur; Prof. Sudha Rai, former Dean of Faculty of Arts, Rajasthan University, Jaipur; Prof. Mini Nanda, who served as a teacher for about 37 years at Rajasthan University; Mrs. Pinky Singh, who taught Mathematics and Science for three decades at St. Xavier’s School, Jaipur; and Mr. Ajit Jain, founder of Anurag Music Institute, Jaipur.

In the program, 164 teachers/professors selected from Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Barmer, Sirohi, Pali, Delhi, Lucknow, Gujarat, Jammu, and Kashmir were honored with the Principals and Teachers Award 2025. These include teachers from many categories, such as pre-schools, government and private schools, colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.

Attractive cultural programs were also presented by the students during the felicitation program. The program was successful due to the positive efforts of Somendra Harsh, Anshu Harsh, and Sudhir Mathur.
