Bigg Boss 19: Amaal Mallik Faces Backlash, Farhana Bhatt and Ashnoor Kaur Lock Horns

Updated At: September 24, 2025 2:02 PM

Bigg Boss 19 heats up as Farhana Bhatt beats Ashnoor Kaur, while controversies keep rising

Bigg Boss 19 is once again in the spotlight with back-to-back controversies and unexpected twists. From Amaal Mallik’s harsh fight with Pranit More to Farhana Bhatt defeating Ashnoor Kaur in the captaincy contendership task, the recent episodes have left both housemates and viewers stunned.

Amaal Mallik Faces Backlash Over Derogatory Remarks

The house atmosphere turned explosive when Amaal Mallik clashed with Pranit More. What started as an argument quickly escalated after Amaal repeatedly poked Pranit on the chest and then made a shocking comment that he would need to “wash his hands” after touching him.

This remark was called derogatory and deeply offensive by fans. Many also pointed out that this wasn’t the first time Amaal had crossed a line. Earlier in the season, he had referred to Pranit as a “zebra” and mocked Gaurav Khanna for being a television actor. Viewers believe these repeated insensitive comments and constant backbiting have damaged his image badly, especially on social media.

Nehal Chudasama and Farhana Bhatt Slammed

The controversy didn’t stop with Amaal. Nehal Chudasama and Farhana Bhatt also came under fire after making comments about Ashnoor Kaur. They were heard referring to her as “Abhishek ki biwi” and “Abhishek ki madam,” remarks that many viewers found disrespectful and unnecessary.

Captaincy Task: Farhana Bhatt vs. Ashnoor Kaur

The focus then shifted to the captaincy contendership task. Abhishek chose Ashnoor as his contender, but the game took a twist when a wheel spin on the plasma screen brought Farhana’s name forward.

The task required both Ashnoor and Farhana to collect rations for the house as well as for Bigg Boss. The one who gave more to Bigg Boss would move ahead in the captaincy race, but that ration would not go to the housemates.

Farhana strategically gave more to Bigg Boss and won the task. Ashnoor, choosing to prioritize the house, lost her chance to continue in the captaincy race.

New Twist in the Captaincy Race

Right after this, another challenge was announced to finalize the captaincy contenders. Five contestants—Farhana, Abhishek, Awez, Gaurav, and Kunickka—fought it out. After the competition, the list narrowed down to just two names.

The final captaincy contenders are now Gaurav Khanna and Farhana Bhatt, with Nehal Chudasama playing an important role in shaping strategies inside the house. In the upcoming episodes, viewers will also see Nehal fully re-entering the Bigg Boss house, which is expected to bring more drama and fresh twists.
