Updated At: October 4, 2025 2:01 PM

Bigg Boss 19 sees Rohan Mehra supporting Ashnoor Kaur and Abhishek Bajaj while criticizing Amaal Malik’s conduct inside the house

Bigg Boss 19 remains in the news, and actor Rohan Mehra has expressed his opinions about the ongoing controversies in the house through posts on X. Rohan is known to speak freely, and he has publicly supported some contestants and condemned others, creating a lot of debate among fans.

Rohan expressed his thoughts in one tweet about Abhishek Bajaj, who supported Ashnoor Kaur, by saying Abhishek was taking a stand for what was right, and he was proud of him for having the courage to do it. At the same time, he expressed that it was unfortunate that Amaal Malik’s family had to apologize publicly for something they did not do. Rohan added that families should not be held responsible for another person’s mistake.

Rohan also tweeted directly to singer Amaal Malik and questioned Amaal’s behavior inside the house. He praised senior actress Kunickaa’s behavior, stating she was being “savage,” and encouraged Amaal to think about the image he is portraying and the legacy he may be leaving for his family. His statements showed disappointment and concern for Amaal and a wish that Amaal would rethink his behavior.

Rohan Mehra also expressed his pride in Ashnoor Kaur, applauding her recent performance in the Bigg Boss house. He highlighted how she has elevated her game, appearing confident, strong, and unstoppable. Rohan encouraged her to keep this momentum going and show everyone her true potential.

These tweets generated viral reactions and debates among fans. Rohan’s praise of Abhishek Bajaj and Ashnoor Kaur received praise from the public, but the tweet that criticized Amaal Malik led to heated debates on social media.

Rohan Mehra and Ashnoor Kaur Bond

Rohan and Ashnoor originally formed their bond on television when they played siblings on the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Rohan played Naksh Singhania, and Ashnoor played the role of young Naira Singhania. Their on-screen chemistry transitioned into a real-life bond where Rohan referred to Ashnoor as his “sister from another mother.” Despite their roles on the show, they continued their friendship into real life, and they often celebrate festivals such as Raksha Bandhan.

Rohan’s protective support of Ashnoor Kaur

Earlier on in the Bigg Boss house, Rohan’s protectiveness came into play while defending Ashnoor against Amaal Malik and Shehbaz Badesha for their comments about Ashnoor and Abhishek Bajaj. During one task they both stated that Ashnoor was “using” Abhishek. Rohan took to social media to voice his frustration over their remarks, saying, “My blood boils seeing people talk about my sister @ashnoorkaur03. She’s so sensible, kind-hearted, and respectful to everyone, but they don’t deserve that respect.”

Even after receiving harsh comments, Ashnoor has maintained her composure. Her dignified approach has earned widespread admiration, with fans trending #DignifiedAshnoorKaur on social media. She was able to stay down-to-earth and focused amidst the chaotic Bigg Boss house, giving her a sturdy platform in the game.

The season has been full of conflict, alliances shifting, and outlandish comments. Rohan Mehra’s public statements, along with his unyielding support for Ashnoor, have added another level to the drama. As the weeks progress, it is yet to be seen how the contestants will respond to Rohan’s comments and if they intend to discuss it inside the house.
