AIMF applauds Indian Army and Government for “Operation Sindoor”, praises leadership of women officers

New Delhi, 7 May 2025
The All-India Minorities Front (AIMF) has lauded the Indian Army and the Government of India for launching Operation Sindoor, a calibrated and powerful response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam that left the nation shocked. In a precision strike, nine terror camps were targeted in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK), sending a strong and clear message against terrorism.
Lubna Asif, National President of AIMF, reiterated the party’s strong condemnation of the Pahalgam terror attack, calling it “barbaric and inhuman.” She welcomed the Indian response, saying:
“The Pahalgam attack was an assault not just on civilians but on the very conscience of humanity. Operation Sindoor is a rightful and necessary response to safeguard India’s sovereignty and security. We salute the Indian Army and the Government of India for standing firm in the face of terror and responding with both precision and restraint.”
She further added:
“What makes this response even more significant is the involvement of two courageous women officers, including a Muslim officer. This is a powerful message — that India’s fight against terrorism is united, inclusive, and resolute.”
Laeqa Asif, also speaking on behalf of AIMF, stated:
“India has shown that it will not tolerate attacks on its people, and at the same time, it has showcased its diversity through the leadership of women officers in this operation. As minorities, we feel proud that a Muslim woman was part of this decisive mission, and it sends a clear message of national integration and collective strength.”
AIMF also called upon all sections of society, regardless of religion or region, to unite in solidarity against terrorism and extremism. The party expressed its condolences to the families affected by the Pahalgam tragedy and pledged continued support for national unity and peace.
