The Election Commission has begun briefing on the schedule and phases of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The eagerly awaited dates and phases of the general elections are expected to be disclosed shortly.
Consistent with previous patterns, the election dates are likely to be spread across multiple phases. For example, the 2019 Lok Sabha elections were conducted over seven phases from April 11 to May 19, with results announced on May 23.
