New Delhi: As the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) remains silent on the schedule for the UP Constable Civil Police Direct Recruitment Examination 2023, numerous concerned candidates have taken to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to request an immediate announcement of the exam date. One user posted, “Please conduct the UP police exam as soon as possible and fill all vacant positions in all departments.”
The UP government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, announced on February 24 the cancellation of the police constable recruitment exams held on February 17 and 18 due to allegations of question paper leaks. Under ‘Mission Rozgar’, the state had planned to recruit 60,244 police constables to bolster the force. The exams were conducted at 2,385 centers across all 75 districts of the state.
The Chief Minister has ordered that the re-examination be conducted within the next six months. Once the schedule for the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment exam is released, candidates can download it from the official Board website at https://uppbpb.gov.in/. One user asked in Hindi, “When will the exam date be confirmed?”
Meanwhile, a fake notice circulating on social media claims to state the exam date for the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination.
