The Atal Foundation organized the Atal Samman Ceremony 2024 at the Prime Ministers’ Museum in New Delhi to commemorate the legacy of former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The event honored individuals and organizations for their exceptional contributions to society and the nation. A total of 35 honorees were recognized across various categories for their impactful work.
The ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests, including Shri Narayan Jatia, former Rajya Sabha MP; Dr. Ashok Aggarwal, Chairman of LVF; Shri Avinash Rai Khanna, MP and Vice Chairman of the Red Cross Society; Dr. Acharya Rajesh Ojha, Mahamandaleshwar; Shri Shyam Jaju, former National Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party; Jaipur MP Manju Sharma, and other notable dignitaries, whose presence elevated the grandeur of the event.
This year, the Atal Gaurav Awards were presented in 29 categories, recognizing individuals and organizations for their remarkable societal contributions. Notable recipients included:
Pankaj Maurya (Eastern Uttar Pradesh) for impactful work in foster care,
Ayan Sarkar (Tripura) for innovations in organic farming,
Madanlal (Gujarat) for significant contributions to employment generation, and
Gaurav Mittal (Western Uttar Pradesh) for his commendable role in social service.
