The Ayodhya Ram Mandir has been reopened to the public, and there has been a significant influx of devotees since early morning. In a recent decision by the Ayodhya Police and local administration, the entrance to the Ayodhya Ram Mandir had been temporarily closed due to the overwhelming number of devotees. However, the entry has now been reopened, and devotees can enter, but the formal Darshan (sacred viewing) will commence in a few hours.
The Ayodhya Ram Mandir welcomed visitors today after the grand Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony held on January 22. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, prominent politicians, athletes, businesspeople, and film celebrities from India.
As previously mentioned, the entry to the Ayodhya Ram Mandir was temporarily closed earlier due to the large crowd of devotees who had been waiting in line for hours. In consideration of public safety, the administration and police temporarily closed the entrance and placed barricades on the roads leading to the temple, including highways where vehicles were temporarily halted.
However, the temple gates have now reopened, and devotees are entering the premises under tight security. Devotees will have the opportunity to have Darshan of Ram Lalla starting at 2:00 PM, with organized queues to maintain order.
On the first day of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir being open to the public, devotees have been standing in line since 3:00 AM to offer prayers and witness the Darshan of Shri Ram Lalla on the morning following Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
For devotees seeking Darshan of Lord Ram Lalla, specific time slots have been provided on the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra website – a morning slot from 7 am to 11:30 am and an afternoon slot from 2 pm to 7 pm. The ‘Aarti’ timings include jagran/shringar at 6:30 am and sandhya aarti at 7:30 pm. Passes for the ‘Aarti’ can be obtained both offline and online, with offline passes available at the camp office at Shri Ram Janmbhoomi, requiring a valid government identity proof.
