India at the 2024 Olympics: Indian competitors are preparing for the Paris Olympics, which will begin on July 26.

Athletes are intensely preparing for their medal quests. Ahead of the Olympics, they are competing in several events to hone their skills. Indian athletes are also ready to showcase their talent and win medals at the 2024 Olympics.
Here are five sports in which India has bright medal hopes:
Badminton: India is hoping for two or three medals this time in badminton. The qualified players are: Lakshya Sen (men’s singles), PV Sindhu (women’s singles), Ashwini Ponnappa and Tanisha Crasto (women’s doubles), HS Prannoy (men’s singles), Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty (men’s doubles). One of the main competitors is PV Sindhu, HS Prannoy is also anticipated to win a medal.
Weightlifting: India’s Saikhom Mirabai Chanu clinched the silver medal in weightlifting at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Now, she’s eligible for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. The nation is excited about her chances of taking home the gold this time.
