CBSE Board Exams 2023-24: LOC Submission Deadline Approaches in 6 Days – Check Late Fee and Application Process

The Central Board for Secondary Examination (CBSE) is preparing to conduct the annual Board Exams for Class 10 and 12 students affiliated with the board. The CBSE LOC Registrations for the year 2023-24 commenced on August 18, 2023, and the deadline is fast approaching. CBSE has officially announced that they will not extend the deadline for CBSE LOC Submissions 2023-24. The final date for submission is less than a week away. CBSE LOC Submission 2023-24: Last Date and Late Fee –
As mentioned earlier, CBSE has confirmed that the last date for CBSE LOC Submissions 2023-24 will not be extended, as per an official notice from the Board. The last date for CBSE LOC Submission without a late fee is September 18, 2023, while the last date for submission with a late fee is September 25, 2023, starting from September 19, 2023. The late fee, in addition to the regular prescribed fee, is Rs. 2000/- per candidate.

CBSE LOC Submission 2023-24: How to Apply
The application and registration process for CBSE LOC Submission 2023-24 can be completed using the e-Pariksha link provided on the official website of the board: https://cbse.gov.in.
Before proceeding with the LOC submission, schools must upload all the necessary data on the OASIS and HPE Portal. The Board will not permit schools to modify the declared student strength or sections uploaded on OASIS after LOC submission.
Schools should use their ‘Affiliation Number’ as the user ID and complete the registration process before proceeding with online submission.

Principals/Schools Must Ensure the Following for LOC Submission
According to the official notification by CBSE, principals and schools must ensure that the sponsored candidates are their own regular and genuine students, with no genuine students’ names left unsponsored. Schools should also verify that the students do not belong to unaffiliated schools, regularly attend classes, and are not registered with any other board besides CBSE. It is also essential to confirm that students are eligible to appear in the Board exams as per the provisions of the Examination Bylaws. Class XII students must also confirm that they passed their Class X board exams from a recognized school education board on or before the academic year 2022.

The purpose of the LOC (List of Candidates) prepared by CBSE is to compile a list of essential details of all students provided by the schools. This list includes demographic information and the subject combinations selected by the students. The information submitted in the LOC cannot be altered later.
