
CEPT University is set to host an exclusive masterclass series focusing on key aspects of urban planning in New Delhi on March 11 and 12, 2025. This three-part advanced program is organized by CEPT Professional Programs (CPP), the university’s executive education wing, along with the CEPT Urban Planning and Design Foundation (CUPDF). The sessions will be led by globally acclaimed urban planner Alain Bertaud and will feature contributions from prominent experts, including Bimal Patel, Barjor Mehta, and Vidyadhar Phatak.

Targeted at professionals, researchers, academicians, and government officials working in urban planning, transportation, real estate development, housing, and urban management, the masterclass offers an in-depth exploration of pressing issues in urban development.
Topics Covered in the Masterclass
The two-day program will delve into critical themes, including markets and urban planning, land use planning, housing, and real estate. Each session will incorporate Bertaud’s global insights along with perspectives from leading Indian urban planners. Key speakers include Bimal Patel, Director of HCP DPM Pvt. Ltd.; Prof. Barjor Mehta, President of CEPT University; and Prof. Vidyadhar Phatak, former Head of MMRDA’s Planning Division. The discussions will emphasize the unique challenges and opportunities faced by Indian cities.

Applications are now open, with a registration deadline of March 3, 2025. However, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
