Chief Secretary of Rajasthan, Mr. Sudhansh Pant, Inaugurated the Event

A Diwali pre-festival celebration, Deepotsav 2024, took place at Bikaner House in New Delhi on Monday. The event featured renowned Rajasthani folk singer Mr. Rafiq Langa, who delighted attendees with his performances.
The program was inaugurated by Mr. Sudhansh Pant, the Chief Secretary of Rajasthan, who lit the ceremonial lamp. Also present were Additional Resident Commissioner Mrs. Anju Om Prakash, Deputy Resident Commissioner Mrs. Rinku Meena, Manoj Singh and various officials from state government departments based in Delhi.
While providing details about the event, Additional Resident Commissioner Mrs. Anju Om Prakash mentioned that the primary aim of the Deepotsav celebration is to honor the Diwali festival in accordance with Rajasthani traditions within the Bikaner House premises.
The program began with a Ganesh Vandana, followed by a variety of songs and Sufi music performed by Mr. Rafiq Langa, which entertained the distinguished guests and visitors in attendance.
