New Delhi: CCTV cameras installed across the national capital are meant to help authorities monitor and ensure the safety and security of the city’s streets and public spaces. However, these cameras recently captured something unexpected.
Footage has emerged showing three traffic officers from the Delhi Police allegedly dividing money collected during their duty hours. The video has since gone viral on social media, raising concerns and attracting widespread attention.

Video was shared on X (Twitter) by Atulkrishan (@iAtulKrishan1), with the caption: “Alleged TRAFFIC POLICE BRIBERY RACKET BUSTED IN DELHI. Allegations: A bribery racket was exposed at the Gazipur police station, where traffic police officers had set up a makeshift structure to extort money from people. A video has surfaced showing the officers taking bribes and then dividing the spoils among themselves. The accused officers are from the Kalyanpuri Circle. @DelhiPolice @CPDelhi.”
The footage reveals three traffic officers handling what appears to be a substantial sum of cash, with currency notes of various denominations, including the highest denomination notes.
In a separate clip, a man in civilian clothing is seen handing over money to one of the officers inside an enclosed space. The officer gestures for the man to place the money on a seat, which he does before leaving.
The incident reportedly took place at a police check post in Gazipur, part of the Thrill Lauri Circle in Delhi. The officers involved are said to belong to the Kalyanpuri Circle.
