Dr. K.A. Paul Demands Arrest of Delhi HC Judge After ₹1,000+ Crore Cash Found at His Residence, Calls for CBI Probe

New Delhi, March 21, 2025 –

Global peace ambassador Dr. K.A. Paul has leveled serious allegations against Delhi High Court Justice Yashwant Verma, demanding his immediate arrest over what he calls a massive corruption scandal. He has urged the CBI, ED, and a panel of retired judges to launch a full-scale investigation after authorities allegedly discovered ₹1,000+ crore in cash at Justice Verma’s residence.

According to Dr. Paul, during a fire at Justice Verma’s residence, officials uncovered an astonishing pile of cash exceeding ₹1,000 crore. However, instead of securing the crime scene and initiating a probe, authorities allegedly moved the cash, transferred the judge to the Allahabad High Court, and attempted a cover-up.

Dr. K.A. Paul’s Key Demands

  1. Immediate arrest of Justice Yashwant Verma and his remand for questioning.
  2. An independent, high-level inquiry by the CBI, ED, and retired judges to ensure accountability.
  3. End to judicial immunity for corrupt judges, upholding Article 14 of the Constitution.
  4. Unbiased media coverage to expose the scandal and prevent suppression of facts.
  5. Judicial accountability, as Dr. Paul warns that political interference is eroding India’s democracy.

Dr. K.A. Paul’s Statement
“This is beyond shocking. A sitting Delhi High Court judge’s house caught fire, and instead of investigating how over ₹1,000 crore in cash was found there, authorities quietly moved the money and transferred the judge. Why is there no CBI or ED inquiry? Why is the Law Minister silent? Why is the Chief Justice of India not taking action? This level of corruption is unbelievable and is making India’s judiciary a global laughingstock. Judges are not above the law, and immunity must be removed. We must act now to save Indian democracy and the judiciary.”

Dr. Paul has strongly criticized the inaction of the Law Minister and the Chief Justice of India, questioning their silence on such a grave matter. He warns that corrupt judges are undermining public trust, turning India’s judiciary into a mockery on the global stage.

Dr. Paul urges media outlets and citizens to spread awareness and demand justice, emphasizing that freedom of the press (Article 19) must be exercised to expose this scandal. “This is not just about one judge; this is about saving India’s judiciary and democracy,” he said.
