Economic Discrimination and Xenophobia Against Indo-Canadian Entrepreneurs

Dr. Krishnan Suthanthiran Criticizes Trudeau’s Alleged Anti-Indian Policies

Religious Intolerance and Economic Bias Targeting the Indian Diaspora in Canada

Dr. Krishnan Suthanthiran, Founder and President of TeamBest Global Companies, has raised concerns over rising religious intolerance, economic discrimination, and xenophobia faced by Hindu businessmen in Canada. Speaking at the Press Club of India in New Delhi on December 20, 2024, Dr. Suthanthiran highlighted systemic challenges allegedly perpetuated by the Justin Trudeau administration and called for international intervention to ensure equality and justice for Indian-origin individuals.

Accusations of Economic Persecution

Dr. Suthanthiran described the challenges faced by Indian entrepreneurs as an “attempt at economic persecution,” urging Prime Minister Trudeau’s government to address these systemic biases. “Justice and dignity are not privileges—they are fundamental rights,” he emphasized, calling on the global community to act against prejudice and xenophobia.

Appeal to Human Rights Organizations

Dr. Suthanthiran urged international human rights organizations to investigate these alleged biases against the Hindu community in Canada. He advocated for inclusivity and equality, stating that global efforts must ensure fair treatment for all communities. “The economic discrimination against Indian-origin entrepreneurs in Canada is a matter of international concern,” he said, urging resilience and unity in combating these injustices.

A Vision for Global Equity and Healthcare

Dr. Suthanthiran spoke of his Indian roots and the contributions of the Indian diaspora to global progress. He outlined his commitment to accessible education and healthcare through his initiatives, including the Proud Indian Party, which aims to provide free education and quality healthcare for all Indians.

Highlighting his extensive work in oncology and preventive medicine, he emphasized the importance of early detection and treatment of diseases like cancer, diabetes, and heart conditions. Despite concerns over bureaucratic inefficiencies and corruption in India, he expressed optimism about the country’s potential to lead in healthcare and manufacturing.

Philanthropy and Social Initiatives

Through ventures like the Best Food Foundation and Triple E (Education, Empowerment, and Equality), Dr. Suthanthiran aims to uplift underdeveloped communities globally. His efforts focus on making healthcare technologies affordable and accessible, ensuring equitable care for all.

A Call for Collective Action

Dr. Suthanthiran concluded with a call to action: “The 21st century belongs to India. Together, we can create a world that thrives on peace, progress, and shared prosperity.”
