NEET UG Cut-Off 2025 Announced: Check Qualifying Marks Across Categories

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the NEET UG 2025 cut-off marks, revealing the minimum percentile and marks required for candidates to qualify for the next stage of the medical admission process. The results and category-wise cut-off list were announced on Saturday, bringing clarity to lakhs of medical aspirants across the country.
NEET UG 2025 Cut-Off: Who Qualifies?
As per the NTA notification, candidates who have scored equal to or more than the prescribed NEET cut-off percentile will be eligible to participate in the counselling process for admission to undergraduate medical courses.
However, officials stressed that qualifying NEET UG 2025 does not guarantee admission into a medical college. Students must also clear all counselling rounds to secure a seat in reputed institutions.

Category-Wise NEET UG 2025 Cut-Off

This year witnessed a noticeable dip in cut-off scores across most categories, which experts attribute to a tougher exam pattern or stricter evaluation criteria.

The report also highlighted a comparison between NEET UG 2024 and 2025 cut-offs. The most significant variation was seen in the OBC category, with a drop of approximately 12.04%. A similar downward trend was observed in the OBC-PwBD group (-19.78%).
What’s Next After NEET UG 2025 Results?
Qualified candidates should now prepare for the NEET counselling process, which involves multiple rounds including choice filling, seat allotment, and document verification. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon announce the counselling schedule on its official website.
