‘Hera Pheri 3’ without Babu Bhaiya? Paresh Rawal’s exit shocks fans, Suniel Shetty says “It Feels……”

As Paresh Rawal walks out of Hera Pheri 3, Suniel Shetty calls his absence a big blow to the franchise. Akshay Kumar has reportedly issued a ₹25 crore legal notice over the sudden exit
The iconic comedy franchise Hera Pheri has run into unexpected trouble. Actor Paresh Rawal, who won hearts with his legendary role as Babu Bhaiya, has suddenly stepped away from Hera Pheri 3, and his exit has left both the film’s team and fans stunned.
Suniel Shetty, who plays Shyam in the film, expressed deep disappointment. During a promotional event, when asked about Paresh Rawal’s decision, he said,
“Hera Pheri simply cannot be made without Paresh Rawal. You might just manage a film without me or Akshay, but without Babu Bhaiya, it’s impossible. Raju and Shyam can’t exist without Baburao.”
Suniel revealed that he first heard the news from his children, Athiya and Ahan Shetty.
“I was in the middle of an interview when they messaged me and asked, ‘Dad, what’s going on?’ I was shocked. I wish I could fix things with just a few phone calls.”
Suniel added that he, like millions of fans, was eagerly waiting for the franchise’s third movie.
Director Priyadarshan has also reacted to the news, expressing his disbelief, he has said that Paresh didn’t inform anyone before stepping away. Before the project began, Akshay had asked him to personally speak to Suniel and Paresh, which he did, and both had agreed to come on board.
He clarified that while he may not be personally affected, Akshay Kumar has invested heavily in the project, so his legal action seems justified.
Akshay Kumar sends ₹25 Crore Legal Notice
According to media reports, producer Akshay Kumar has sent a legal notice to Paresh Rawal, claiming the actor’s sudden exit caused major financial damage to the film. The reported lawsuit demands ₹25 crore in compensation.
Sources say Akshay had purchased the rights to Hera Pheri 3 from original producer Firoz Nadiadwala and had already made significant investments in the production.
Now, the big question remains—will Paresh Rawal reconsider his decision, or will Hera Pheri 3 move ahead without its most beloved character? One thing is clear: for fans, the idea of Hera Pheri without Baburao Ganpatrao Apte feels painfully incomplete.
