Kajol’s horror Film ‘Maa’ reveals New Poster

Kajol’s upcoming horror film ‘Maa’ is making headlines with the release of its gripping new poster. The poster presents a chilling and mysterious scene, showing Kajol and her on-screen daughter trapped inside a car, surrounded by terrifying demonic creatures. The cracked windshield, along with eerie handprints smeared across it, heightens the sense of fear and tension. Written in red is the line — “Protector. Destroyer. Mother.” — symbolizing the powerful and multifaceted nature of a mother.

Sharing the poster on her Instagram handle, Kajol wrote, “The wheels are turning, but the roots are digging in. Trailer drops on May 29.” This statement hints at the emotional depth of the story, suggesting that the film is not just a horror tale, but also an intense portrayal of the bond between a mother and her daughter, and the inner strength that bond can awaken.

Earlier, another poster from the film was released in which Kajol is seen confronting a horrifying demon with glowing red eyes and a menacing appearance, set against a thunder-lit sky. The accompanying audio further emphasized the high-stakes supernatural conflict, making it clear that Kajol’s character is fully prepared to take on dark forces.

Maa is directed by Vishal Furia, known for his work on acclaimed horror films ‘Chhorii’ and ‘Chhorii 2’. The film is produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande, and features a strong cast including Indraneil Sengupta, Ronit Roy, and Jitin Gulati in key roles. The story revolves around a mother who is willing to go to any extent, even face demonic forces, to protect her daughter.

Apart from Maa, Kajol will also be seen in the action-thriller ‘Maharagni: Queen of Queens’, where she stars opposite Prabhudheva. The film marks their reunion after nearly 27 years; they last worked together in the 1997 Tamil hit ‘Minsara Kanavu’. Maharagni also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Sanya Malhotra, Jisshu Sengupta, Aditya Seal, Pramod Pathak, and Chhaya Kadam in pivotal roles.

All eyes are now on May 29, when the official trailer of Maa will be released. Based on the posters and glimpses shared so far, the film promises to deliver a unique blend of fear, emotion, and the unwavering power of a mother’s love — a story that’s likely to stay with the audience long after the credits roll.
