New Delhi: 27 June 2025

Rashmika Mandanna just dropped the first look from her upcoming action thriller Maiza, and fans are stunned in the best way possible. Rashmika dropped a powerful new poster on Friday, revealing a bold and intense side of her character.

In the poster, Rashmika’s face is smeared with blood, her eyes burning with rage and power. She’s wearing a deep red saree, tribal jewelry, and a crescent-shaped bindi—an intense look that’s worlds away from anything we’ve seen her in before. She plays a woman from the Gond tribal community, and the transformation is gripping.

Talking about Maiza, Rashmika opened up on social media:

“I always try to bring something new to my audience, and ‘Maiza’ is exactly that. It’s a character I’ve never played before, in a world I’ve never stepped into. This look? It’s dangerous, intense, and so real. Honestly, I’m a little nervous… but way more excited. And this is just the beginning!”

You can feel the passion in her words—this role clearly means a lot to her.

A Pan-India Release with a Powerful Team Behind It

Directed by Ravindra Pulle and produced by Ajay and Anil Sunkara under UnformulA Films, Maiza will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The official release date hasn’t been announced yet, but after that first look, fans are already counting the days.
