Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav begin work on thriller ‘Tu Yaa Main’

Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav team up for the first time in Bejoy Nambiar’s upcoming survival thriller, set to begin filming in June 2025

The upcoming survival thriller Tu Yaa Main is beginning to draw attention as preparations for filming officially kick off this June. Featuring Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav in lead roles, the film is being directed by Bejoy Nambiar, known for his stylized storytelling and intense narratives.

This will be the first on-screen pairing of Shanaya and Adarsh, adding to the excitement around the project. The teaser, released earlier this year, offered a glimpse into the gritty, high-stakes world the film is set in, one that leans heavily into the survival thriller genre.

For Shanaya Kapoor, this film is part of an eventful debut year. She is all set to appear opposite Vikrant Massey in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, which hits theatres on July 11, 2025. Apart from Tu Yaa Main, she’s also signed on for an untitled romantic drama with Munjya actor Abhay Verma, directed by Shujaat Saudagar.

Production teams are currently in pre-production mode, finalizing schedules and set preparations. Both lead actors have already started internal prep, focusing on the demands of the genre and the characters they’re set to portray.
