The original series, which aired from 2000 to 2008 and was produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, is still recognized as one of the most iconic serials in Indian television history. After weeks of conjecture on its revival, new information suggests that the project is finally coming ahead.

Smriti Irani has officially agreed to return to the character of Tulsi Virani for the next season.
