Kannada TV actor Rakesh Poojary dies at 34 after cardiac arrest

The star of Comedy Khiladi died quite suddenly post a wedding celebration at the age of 34
The Kannada television world is in sorrow with the untimely death of actor, Rakesh Poojary, popularly known for his appearances in the comedy show ‘Comedy Khiladi’. He passed away on Monday morning, May 12th, at the age of 34 after a cardiac arrest.
According to sources, Rakesh had spent the night before at a Mehndi ceremony in Karkala taluk in the Udupi district. He was celebrating with friends, dancing, and full of life. Sadly, at about 2 a.m., he collapsed and was not revived.
Actor Shivaraj KR Pete, a close friend of the late Rakesh, confirmed the tragic news and expressed his disbelief about losing someone so full of life. “He had no known medical problems. Just yesterday, he was dancing and laughing at the wedding celebration.”
Some reports indicate that it could have been because of low blood pressure-induced cardiac arrest, but official confirmation has yet to be received.
Social media is overflowing with condolence from the film community. Actor Kirik Keerthi expressed sorrow on Instagram about Rakesh and remembered him as a very warm person who treated everyone like family. He had a smile and a good remark for everyone all the time. It’s hard to accept that someone so young and vibrant is gone,” he stated.
