Free Electricity: PM Modi Introduces ‘Free Electricity’ Scheme, Provides Link to Participate

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed on Tuesday the launch of the ‘PM Solar Home: Free Electricity Scheme’ by the Central Government to promote solar power and sustainable development. The initiative aims to illuminate up to one crore households by offering up to 300 units of complimentary electricity each month. PM Modi mentioned that the endeavor will require an investment exceeding Rs 75,000 crore.
