Guinness World Record Holder Dr. Pankaj Gupta Switches Sides, Leaves AAP for BJP

He was handling responsibility in the Aam Aadmi Party as a campaigner of Uttarakhand

New Delhi, January 20, 2024:

Dr. Pankaj Gupta, who holds a Guinness World Record for staging two fashion shows on Mount Everest with his team, has severed ties with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s personality and nationalist ideology, he has now joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Dr. Gupta said that the entire nation is immersed in Lord Ram’s devotion with the upcoming Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya. He explains that it is Prime Minister Modi’s nationalist vision, which has united the country for this momentous occasion, that has led him to leave AAP and join the BJP. He further adds that he resonates with this ideology and is committed to fulfilling any responsibility the party entrusts him with for the nation’s benefit.

Previously, Dr. Gupta served as AAP’s campaigner in Uttarakhand. He pursued a fashion designing course in the US and is the only Indian registered in the fashion capital of Milan. On January 26, 2020, he created his first Guinness World Record by hosting a fashion show at 5,340 meters on Mount Everest. He shattered his own record on September 30, 2021, with a second fashion show at 5,500 meters. Dr. Gupta is also actively involved in social work.
