
According to the IMD, Mumbai will probably see intense rain over the next three days as it batters several areas of the city.

Heavy rainfall lashed various regions of Maharashtra’s capital city Mumbai on Friday morning, causing waterlogging in sections of Navi Mumbai. Meanwhile IMD said in its most recent bulletin that heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa and Coastal Karnataka from July 12 to 15.
From July 11 to July 15, isolated heavy rains are likely to affect the Konkan and Goa regions, along with the ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra and Coastal Karnataka, Kerala between July 13 to July 15, and South Interior Karnataka on July 14 and 15, the IMD issued a warning.
Mumbai is under an orange alert from the weather service, indicating moderate to extremely heavy rainfall in certain locations. In the Konkan region of Maharashtra, similar alerts have also been issued for the districts of Thane, Raigad, Palghar, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg.
Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are also expected to have isolated, extremely heavy rainfall today and during the following two days, according to the IMD.

It was 29.6 degrees Celsius at the city’s lowest point on Friday and light rain was predicted by the weather service. There was 76% humidity at 7:30 a.m.
According to weather officials, the day will be mostly cloudy with mild to moderate rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds. It is expected that the highest temperature will be approximately 36 degrees Celsius.
