Dr. K.A. Paul, founder of the U.S.-based Global Peace Initiative (GPI) and an internationally recognized peace ambassador, has called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to immediately cease military operations against Iran. He warned that continued aggression could lead to a global catastrophe.

Speaking at a press conference at the headquarters of the Praja Shanti Party in Hyderabad, Dr. Paul stated,
“Prime Minister Netanyahu is making a grave mistake by bombing Iran’s nuclear sites. This is not merely an attack on Iran—it’s a provocation aimed at countries like Russia, China, and North Korea. This could trigger World War III.”

Having previously served as a state guest in both Israel and Iran, Dr. Paul urged Netanyahu to prioritize humanitarian values and voiced deep concern over the worsening situation in Gaza.
“Over a million people in Gaza are on the brink of starvation. This is unacceptable. God, history, and humanity will never forgive such injustice,” he said.

Referring to the recent Air India AI-171 incident in Ahmedabad, Dr. Paul demanded major reforms and accountability in India’s aviation sector:

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi should resign, in line with the BJP and RSS’s long-standing policy of retirement at 75, to allow younger leadership to take over.
  • Home Minister Amit Shah should be appointed interim Prime Minister, citing his administrative experience.
  • Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu should step down, as he lacks aviation expertise.
  • Adani Group, which operates the Ahmedabad airport, should be held accountable and pay ₹100 crore in compensation to each victim’s family as interim relief until investigations are complete.

He also emphasized the need to upgrade the Ahmedabad runway to meet international standards and called for strict action against unauthorized construction around the airport.

Dr. Paul highlighted several infrastructure lapses at the Ahmedabad airport, including poor ground handling and inadequate emergency services, which he believes aggravated the severity of the incident.

“I’ve been flying private aircraft since 1991. Aviation is an extremely complex and sensitive sector. Inexperience and negligence at the top cannot be ignored. We need transparency, accountability, and immediate action,” he said.

Dr. Paul appealed to Indian citizens to stay vigilant and demand responsibility from the central government, aviation authorities, and private airport operators to prevent such tragedies in the future.
