The South African industrialist praises Indian culture during his spiritual visit to Ayodhya; hints at future investment opportunities in India

Ayodhya: Errol Musk, noted South African engineer and father of tech billionaire Elon Musk, arrived in Ayodhya on Wednesday aboard a special chartered flight. Upon landing at the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, Musk greeted the crowd with a traditional “Jai Shri Ram,” reflecting his appreciation for Indian customs.

Soon after his arrival, Musk proceeded directly to the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, where he joined 15 other international guests in offering prayers to Lord Ram Lalla. He later visited the revered Hanuman Garhi temple and held a brief audience with temple priest Mahant Hemant Das.

During a press briefing held at the Hanuman Garhi premises, Errol Musk expressed deep admiration for Indian heritage, stating, “India’s cultural legacy and traditions are profoundly glorious. I have great respect for them.”

Responding to queries about potential business ventures in India, Musk gave encouraging signals, suggesting that his visit could mark the beginning of broader engagement. “This journey is also a step toward something greater,” he hinted, without disclosing further details.

Accompanying Errol Musk was his daughter—Elon Musk’s sister, who also participated in the temple visits. Following their spiritual tour, the family departed for New Delhi.

Musk is currently affiliated with Servotech Power Systems Ltd., where he serves as a global advisor. The company’s expanding focus on clean energy and innovation aligns closely with the kind of technological vision associated with the Musk name.

The Ram Temple Trust and local administrative officials accorded a ceremonial welcome to the Musk family, from their arrival at the airport to their temple visits. Mahant Shri Giri, treasurer of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, remarked, “Since the consecration of Ram Lalla, many renowned personalities from across the world have visited Ayodhya. Errol Musk’s presence is yet another example of Lord Ram’s blessings and Ayodhya’s growing global recognition.”

The visit underscores not just Ayodhya’s spiritual magnetism but also its emerging relevance on the world stage, both culturally and economically.
