Indo Pak ceasefire : Peace returns to Jammu-Kashmir and border areas

Indo Pak ceasefire: Since the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, things have started to quiet down in Jammu-Kashmir and nearby border regions. The Indian Army said on Monday that Sunday night passed without any gunfire or shelling—bringing much-needed relief to people living near the border.
This was the first night in days without any tension or violence in areas along the international border. The atmosphere in Jammu city remained calm and stable, with no reports of drone activity. In Srinagar, people were seen getting back to their daily routines, and markets were buzzing with activity.
It’s been over 40 hours since the ceasefire began, and life is slowly returning to normal. As per the local resident in Jammu, things are peaceful now and after staying indoors for four or five days, it is like a big relief for them.
In Udhampur, power issues have been resolved, and the situation is back to normal. And resident have shared, that there lives are returning back to normal again.
The situation alongside the border turned serious, after the “Operation Sindoor” with both sides exchanging fire for three days, affecting many civilians. But since the ceasefire was announced on the evening of May 10, the situation has been improving. People in the border areas are slowly getting back to normal life.
