Ambassador Sena Latif echoed this sentiment, stating:

“This summit is more than just an event — it’s a movement. For the first time, Romanian industries — from wine and confectionery to high-tech and healthcare — are being showcased at such scale in India. We aim not only for trade but for the exchange of ideas, joint ventures, and collaborative progress.”
She also advocated for the swift finalization of the India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

MP Mahesh Kumar Putta highlighted India’s growing global economic influence, stating:

“India is now the world’s fifth-largest economy. With our vast population, youthful energy, and initiatives like ‘Make in India’ and ‘Startup India,’ the country is ready to forge impactful global partnerships. This summit is a meaningful step in that direction.”

UBCCR’s Vision for Sustainable, Action-Driven Alliances

UBCCR President Ms. Shiva Munjal called the summit a tangible step towards actionable collaboration:

“This isn’t just symbolic — we are here to celebrate the power of cooperation. Our goal is clear: connect people, turn ideas into viable projects, and remove barriers to bilateral trade.”

She outlined UBCCR’s upcoming initiatives including structured business delegations, direct industry partnerships, and bilateral task forces focusing on clean energy, agri-tech, digital transformation, and manufacturing.

Technology Takes Center Stage: Airbotix Shows the Way Forward

Airbotix Technology drew significant attention at the summit. Represented by Mr. Vinod Rao Tandra and Col. Gandhi, the company presented cutting-edge innovations in aerospace, defense technology, and AI-driven solutions as promising avenues for Indo-Romanian cooperation.

Col. Gandhi stated:

“We’re not just building drones or defense systems — we’re building trust, speed, and security.”
He emphasized Romania’s deep aerospace talent pool and India’s scalability advantage, presenting a compelling case for strategic partnerships in defense innovation, R&D, and skill development.

Mr. Anshuman Joshi of Dhanvarsha Group called the summit historic:

“This is a golden opportunity for both countries — particularly in defense drone manufacturing and beyond. This partnership could become a milestone for Indo-Romanian relations.”

Diplomacy Meets Enterprise: A Fusion of Cultures and Commerce

Far more than a networking event, INRO Summit 2025 represented a bold new chapter in Indo-Romanian collaboration. From high-level B2B meetings and cultural exchanges to panel discussions and policy dialogues, the summit underscored the vast potential of this bilateral relationship.

Leading Romanian companies — including Aviagro, Cotnari, Sergiana, Boromir, Mirdatod, Ecoferm, Casa Trimis, and Parviresin — showcased premium products and innovations in food & beverage, agriculture, and manufacturing.

Special acknowledgment was extended to Mr. Paritosh Ladhani, Vice Chairman of SLMG Beverages (Coca-Cola), for his key support in ensuring the summit’s success.
Coca-Cola CEO Mr. Costin Mandria remarked:

“Platforms like INRO show what cross-border collaboration can achieve. Coca-Cola proudly supports initiatives that champion innovation, sustainability, and shared progress.”

The Road Ahead: Deeper Integration and Joint Initiatives

The summit paved the way for several forward-looking initiatives, including a bilateral startup exchange program, an India-Romania Task Force on Agri-Tech & Logistics, and joint trade fairs in Bucharest and New Delhi.

With 77 years of diplomatic ties behind them, India and Romania are now poised to elevate their economic partnership to new heights.

Led by Ms. Shiva Munjal and Mr. Albu Elin Marius, UBCCR reaffirmed its commitment to turning dialogue into concrete results.

As the day concluded with a spirited gala and cultural performances, one message rang clear — the future of Indo-Romanian cooperation is bright and already in motion.
