If you’re planning to travel by train in the upcoming days, be aware that Indian Railways has modified the timetable for two Vande Bharat Express trains originating from the national capital. These include the Vande Bharat Express from New Delhi to Amb Andaura and another train connecting Ahmedabad and Jamnagar. The 22447/22448 New Delhi – Amb Andaura Vande Bharat Express is the fourth in India’s series of Vande Bharat Express trains, linking New Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh.

This train was inaugurated on October 13, 2022, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It comprises 16 cars, including chair cars and executive class coaches. The modern train makes stops at four stations along its route between the two cities: Una Himachal, Chandigarh, Anandpur Sahib, and Ambala Cantt Junction.

Revised schedule for New Delhi-Amb Andaura-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express:-
Operated by Indian Railways, this train connects New Delhi, Ambala Cantt. Jn, Chandigarh Jn, Anandpur Sahib, Una Himachal, and Amb Andaura. It currently runs with train numbers 22447/22448 six days a week. Now, the train will operate every day of the week except Tuesday, as opposed to its previous schedule of not running on Fridays.

Covering a distance of 412 km, the journey will now take 5 hours and 15 minutes. The next two fastest trains covering the same distance are Daulatpur Chowk Jan Shatabdi Express and Himachal Express, taking 7 hours and 11 minutes and 8 hours and 15 minutes, respectively.

The introduction of the New Delhi-Amb Andaura-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express has boosted tourism in the region, offering a comfortable and faster travel option.

Extension of Service for Ahmedabad-Jamnagar Vande Bharat Express
The Vande Bharat Express operating between Ahmedabad and Jamnagar has expanded its service to include Udhna Railway Station. The train, with numbers 22925/22926, runs six days a week, excluding Tuesdays. It features 8 coaches, including AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car, with a passenger capacity of 530.

This Vande Bharat Express makes stops at seven stations between Jamnagar and Udhna: Rajkot Junction, Jamnagar, Wankaner Junction, Surendranagar, Sanand, Viramgam Junction, and Sabarmati Junction.
