Operation Sindoor: India sends first delegations abroad to expose Pakistan’s terror links

India flags off global mission under Operation Sindoor to highlight cross-border terror concerns; first delegations depart for international outreach
India has launched Operation Sindoor, a major diplomatic initiative aimed at exposing Pakistan’s support for terrorism on the global stage. The campaign seeks to garner international backing for India’s counter-terrorism efforts by highlighting Pakistan’s alleged complicity in cross-border terrorism.
As part of the operation, two out of seven special delegations departed today for their respective international missions. These delegations will engage with lawmakers, diplomats, and thought leaders in various countries to present India’s stance and evidence on Pakistan’s actions.
The first delegation, led by JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, took off from Delhi and will visit Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, and Singapore. The team comprises prominent MPs and diplomats including Ambassador Mohan Kumar, BJP MPs Pradan Barua, Brij Lal, and Aparajita Sarangi, TMC’s Abhishek Banerjee, CPI(M)’s John Brittas, and Dr. Hemang Joshi.
Before departure, Sanjay Jha emphasized that Pakistan has treated terrorism as a tool of state policy for decades and that it’s time for India to expose its nuclear blackmail and misuse of peaceful agreements, such as the Indus Waters Treaty, on global forums.
The second delegation, led by Shiv Sena MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde, has been dispatched to the UAE, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. Members include BJP MPs Bansuri Swaraj and Atul Garg, BCI Chairman Manan Kumar Mishra, former MP SS Ahluwalia, IUML MP ET Mohammed Basheer, BJD MP Sasmit Patra, and former diplomat Sujan Chinoy.

Operation Sindoor is being seen as a strong diplomatic move by India to internationalize the issue of cross-border terrorism and build a global consensus around holding Pakistan accountable. The initiative reflects India’s commitment to a zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism and its efforts to secure international cooperation in countering extremism.
