Over 200,000 Vehicles in Noida Face License Threat for Repeated Traffic Violations

Attention Drivers! More than 200,000 vehicles in Noida may soon face the risk of losing their licenses. The Noida Traffic Police are cracking down on traffic violators, identifying a whopping 220,000 vehicles that have repeatedly flouted traffic rules from January of the previous year to November of the current year. This information was gathered from the National Informatics Centre (NIC) following a crucial road safety meeting convened by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on December 2. In the meeting, CM Adityanath directed the transport department to take decisive action against habitual offenders, including the suspension or cancellation of their driver’s licenses and vehicle registrations.
