New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday praised India’s youth for their global impact, crediting their dynamism, innovation, and determination for the nation’s progress over the last 11 years. He stated that India’s “Yuva Shakti” has played a pivotal role in nation-building, driving change across various sectors, including startups, science, sports, community service, and culture.

“India’s youth have made a mark globally,” the Prime Minister said in a post on X (formerly Twitter). “Our youth have driven India’s growth with unmatched energy and conviction.”

Citing examples of “remarkable instances of youngsters who have done the unthinkable,” PM Modi said the government’s sustained focus on youth-centric policies like Startup India, Skill India, Digital India, and the National Education Policy 2020 has unleashed the potential of the younger generation.

“These initiatives are rooted in the firm belief that empowering youth is the most powerful thing a nation can do,” he added.

In his message, the Prime Minister also emphasized that with the new education policy and a strong focus on skill development and entrepreneurship, the youth have become central partners in fulfilling the resolution of making India a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).

Reiterating his government’s commitment, PM Modi said, “We will always give our Yuva Shakti all possible opportunities to shine! They are key builders of a Viksit Bharat.”

This statement comes amid the government’s celebration of #11YearsOfYuvaShakti, marking over a decade of youth empowerment initiatives under Modi’s leadership.

As the country continues its push toward becoming a developed nation, the Prime Minister’s remarks reinforce the narrative that India’s demographic dividend, its vast population of young people, is both its greatest strength and its most critical responsibility.
