Singer Shankar Mahadevan to Guest at RSS Vijayadashami Utsav

Singer and composer Shankar Mahadevan has been invited as the guest of honor at this year’s Vijayadashami Utsav (Victory Day Festival) organized by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The event is scheduled to take place in Nagpur on October 24, with RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat in attendance.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, established in 1925 in Nagpur on Vijayadashami (Dussehra), has been observing this festival annually since its inception. Each year, RSS extends invitations to prominent figures from various fields to join as chief guests during the festivities.

Former President Pranab Mukherjee, a long-time participant in Congress politics, was previously invited to the event and was given an opportunity to address the audience from the RSS stage.
