The Indian People Forum (IPF) Bihar Council hosted a grand celebration of Bihar Diwas at Hotel Crystal Plaza, Sharjah, uniting the vibrant Bihari diaspora in the UAE. The event showcased Bihar’s rich heritage, cultural legacy, and growing global influence, drawing a large number of attendees.
The celebration featured prominent speakers, including Shri RK Mahto, Convenor of IPF Bihar Council and NRI industrialist; Shri Manish Sinha, Convenor of BJP Bihar NRI Cell; Smt. Shilpa Nair, Vice President of the IPF Central Committee; and Honbl. Mrs. Sultana Farooq Kazim, an Emirati international social activist. They emphasized Bihar’s historical significance, socio-economic progress, and the crucial role of NRIs in fostering global opportunities for Bihar’s development.

A key highlight of the evening was a mesmerizing performance by the Kalaranjani Group, which captivated the audience with soulful Bhojpuri, Maithili, and Magahi folk songs. Their renditions brought forth nostalgia and pride, celebrating Bihar’s deep-rooted musical traditions.
Several political leaders from Bihar shared their messages through video, recognizing the contributions of the Bihari community abroad. Messages were received from:
