India’s 100 Happiest Photos of 2023

Happiness Strategy Foundation releases India’s top 100 happiest photos of 2023 in India Happiness 2023. India Happiness 2023 has 100 winning photos from the second annual India Happiness Photo Contest 2023, insights from leaders, and exercises for experiencing happiness. Happiness has tremendous benefits for mankind. Over the last four decades, there has been a lot of scientific research on happiness. Still, unfortunately, it has stayed in complex academic papers and thick books away from the common man. The annual India Happiness book project aims to create more awareness of happiness and democratise happiness and happiness research in India.

The book is already getting a positive reception and has received accolades from happiness experts and industry stalwarts.

The second India Happiness Photo Contest 2023 received participation from around India and showed moments of people from different walks of life. The winning 100 photographs are shared in the book with the hope some of the photos might bring some smiles and happiness to people’s lives. Among the winning photos, we see maximum photos of nature followed by smiling faces, childhood, animals & birds, family, historical places, religious and festivals photos. This trend is similar to the overall photos received for submission. The 100 photographs are selected by an esteemed jury, namely, Ms Mandy Seligman, Photographer and Positive Psychology Expert, Founder of SeeingHappy.org; Mr Harsh Goneka, Chairman, RPG Group; Dr Saamdu Chetri, Founder and founding Director of the Gross National Happiness Centre, Bhutan and Dr Rajesh K Pillania, popularly known as India’s Happiness Professor.
