Indira IVF has inaugurated a new fertility center in Phulwari Sharif, Patna, marking its 12th center in Bihar. This expansion aims to enhance accessibility to advanced reproductive healthcare, providing hope and medical solutions to couples and individuals seeking fertility treatment. By integrating cutting-edge reproductive technologies with personalized care, Indira IVF reaffirms its commitment to making fertility treatments more accessible and effective.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Bihar’s Health and Law Minister Mangal Pandey as the chief guest, with former minister Shyam Rajak as the special guest. Also present were Dr. Dayanidhi Kumar, Bihar Head and Patna Center Head of Indira IVF, and Dr. Puneet Hans, Head of Indira IVF Phulwari Sharif.
Bridging the Gap in Fertility Care
Health Minister Mangal Pandey emphasized the importance of accessible, high-quality, and affordable healthcare services in strengthening Bihar’s medical infrastructure. He noted that with the growing demand for fertility treatments, having specialized centers within the state would reduce the need for long-distance travel, leading to better health outcomes and a more robust healthcare system.
Former minister Shyam Rajak highlighted the social stigma and misinformation surrounding infertility, which often prevents people from seeking timely medical help. “Despite advancements in medical science, many still hesitate to discuss reproductive health openly. Creating an environment where individuals can explore treatment options without fear or hesitation is crucial,” he said. Rajak further stressed that fertility centers play a vital role in breaking these barriers and providing much-needed guidance and confidence to those in need.
Innovation and Ethical Medical Practices
Indira IVF’s Managing Director and Co-founder, Nitiz Murdia, underscored the critical role of technology in fertility treatments. “Advanced technology not only enhances diagnostic accuracy but also improves success rates. Our commitment is to integrate ethical medical practices with the latest innovations to address complex infertility cases, ensuring that every patient receives the best possible care tailored to their needs,” he stated.
Dr. Dayanidhi Kumar, Bihar Head and Patna Center Head of Indira IVF, pointed out that one of the biggest challenges in fertility treatment is delayed decision-making due to a lack of awareness and misconceptions. “Many people are unaware of how age, lifestyle, and health conditions affect their chances of conception. Our goal is to educate individuals and provide timely treatment to maximize their chances of success,” he said.
Dr. Puneet Hans, Head of Indira IVF Phulwari Sharif, emphasized that fertility treatment is not just about medical intervention but also about emotional support and personalized care. “Every parenthood journey is unique, and tailored treatment plans are essential. At our new center, we are dedicated to offering scientifically backed, compassionate, and customized care, ensuring patients embark on their fertility journey with confidence and hope,” he said.
Expanding Reach and Impact
With over 160,000 successful IVF pregnancies and a presence in more than 160 locations across India, Indira IVF continues to strengthen its mission of making fertility care widely accessible. The opening of the Phulwari Sharif center marks another step forward in providing high-quality, evidence-based infertility treatments, ensuring that more people in Bihar can receive the medical support they need to achieve their parenthood dreams.
