A group of 186 passengers embarked on a 17-day, 8,250-kilometer journey of the Char Dham Yatra on a specially organized tourist train. This unique train will take them to the sacred destinations of Badrinath, Puri, Rameshwaram, and Dwarka. The journey spans 17 days and covers an impressive distance of approximately 8,250 kilometers, traversing the diverse landscapes of India. The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) operates this train, which was inaugurated on Thursday evening from the Hazrat Nizamuddin station.
According to a spokesperson from Northern Railway, this pilgrimage on an air-conditioned deluxe train will include stopovers in Varanasi, Nashik, Madurai, and Hampi.
