Jailer’s Worldwide Box Office Collection on Day 25: Rajinikanth Poised to Surpass Prabhas this Week, 2.0 Remains the Ultimate Goal

Despite a decline in its collections, ‘Jailer’ continues to perform admirably at the global box office. After 25 days of its successful run, the Rajinikanth-starrer has amassed a total of ₹637.79 crore worldwide, edging closer to the coveted ₹650 crore milestone. It is anticipated that the film, directed by Nelson, will achieve this feat before ‘Jawan’ hits theaters on September 7. Once accomplished, it will match or potentially surpass the worldwide lifetime collection of ‘2.0,’ which grossed ₹650 crore.

A significant chunk of this ₹637.79 crore gross comes from ₹258.45 crore nett earned exclusively at the Tamil Nadu box office, marking a significant milestone for Kollywood. In the domestic market, ‘Jailer’ has accumulated ₹335.87 crore nett over 25 days.

Here is the day-wise breakdown of ‘Jailer’ at the Indian box office after 25 days – Nett Collection (sacnilk):

Week 1: ₹235.85 crore
Week 2: ₹62.95 crore
Week 3: ₹29.75 crore
Day 23: ₹1.8 crore
Day 24: ₹2.47 crore
Day 25: ₹3.05 crore
Total: ₹335.87 crore
While ‘Jailer’ is now the second highest-grossing Tamil film globally, it ranks tenth among the highest-grossing Indian films overall. The reigning champion in the global Indian film market remains ‘Dangal,’ and it appears that its reign will remain unchallenged for a considerable time, unless another film can replicate its success in the Chinese market.

Here is the list of the top 12 highest-grossing Indian films at the worldwide box office – Gross Collection (sacnilk):

‘Dangal’: ₹2122.3 crore
‘Baahubali 2’: ₹1788.06 crore
‘Pathaan’: ₹1050.3 crore
‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’: ₹921.93 crore
‘Secret Superstar’: ₹912.75 crore
‘PK’: ₹722 crore
‘2.0’: ₹723.30 crore
‘Baahubali 2’: ₹650 crore
‘Gadar 2’: ₹650 crore
‘Jailer’: ₹637.79 crore
‘Sultan’: ₹590.88 crore
‘Sanju’: ₹586.85 crore
The road ahead for ‘Jailer’ at the global box office is poised to become even more challenging, particularly in the Gulf and North America, where advance sales for ‘Jawan’ have been breaking records. In India, the film has already sold over five lakh tickets in just three days.

What are your expectations for ‘Jailer’s’ lifetime worldwide gross now? Stay tuned for the latest box office updates on this Rajinikanth-starrer!”
