New Delhi : Amidst the promotional campaign for the eagerly anticipated sports drama “Mr. & Mrs. Mahi,” Bollywood luminary actress Miss Janhvi Kapoor has captured widespread attention for her notable actions. Alongside co-star Rajkummar Rao, Kapoor has been actively engaged in promoting the upcoming film. Notably, during a recent promotional event, Kapoor’s respectful gesture prior to ascending the stage became a focal point on social media platforms. A video shared by Zoom showcased Kapoor’s demonstration of reverence towards the stage, with the assistance of Rajkummar Rao, who guided her to the podium.
Kapoor’s Attire and Presence
Dressed in an elegant white net saree adorned with intricate floral patterns, Janhvi Kapoor exuded sophistication. Complementing the saree was a sleeveless off-white blouse accentuated with silver embellishments, paired with matching heels. Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao presented a polished appearance in formal attire, featuring a sky-blue coat that harmonized impeccably with his crisp white formal pants and corresponding footwear.
Insight into “Mr. & Mrs. Mahi”
“Mr. & Mrs. Mahi” narrates the tale of Mahendra, a cricket enthusiast whose aspirations are unexpectedly halted, and Mahima, a committed doctor, united through an arranged marriage. Sharing the moniker “Mahi,” they embark on their marital journey, discovering a mutual passion for cricket that reignites fervor in both their lives.
In addition to the lead cast comprising Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, the film boasts a distinguished ensemble including Kumud Mishra, Abhishek Banerjee, Rajesh Sharma, Zarina Wahab, among others.
Scheduled for release on May 31st, the film is directed by Sharan Sharma and produced by Nikhil Mehrotra and Sharan Sharma.
