In its fifth weekend, Shah Rukh Khan’s film, ‘Jawan,’ has regained momentum. On the 32nd day since its release, the movie earned ₹2.75 crore at the domestic box office, as reported by Sacnilk. The film enjoyed a 27.31% occupancy rate for Hindi audiences on Sunday, according to the report. As a result, the total collection of ‘Jawan’ has now reached ₹623.91 crore in India. Globally, the film directed by Atlee has generated ₹1,103.27 crore in business. Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment proudly announced that ‘Jawan’ has become the first Hindi film in Indian cinema history to cross the ₹1,100 crore mark worldwide. ‘Jawan’ was released on September 7 and features not only SRK but also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt also made special appearances in the project.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared a week-wise breakdown of ‘Jawan’s’ box office collections in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter). He wrote on twittter, “Here’s the business of ‘Jawan’ at a glance for the Hindi version: Week 1: ₹347.98 crore (8 days), Week 2: ₹125.46 crore, Week 3: ₹52.06 crore, Week 4: ₹34.53 crore, Total: ₹560.03 crore – India business (Nett BOC). And for the Tamil and Telugu versions: Week 1: ₹43.35 crore (8 days), Week 2: ₹11.60 crore, Week 3: ₹3.87 crore, Week 4: ₹1.07 crore, Total: ₹59.89 crore – India business (Nett BOC). He also shared the regional box office collections for the Tamil and Telugu versions.
Up next, Shah Rukh Khan is preparing for Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki,’ which is set to release during Christmas. ‘Dunki’ will go head-to-head with Prabhas’ ‘Salaar’ at the box office and features Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu alongside SRK. This will mark Shah Rukh Khan’s third project of 2023.
