Jawan Box Office Collection Day 4: Shah Rukh Khan’s Film Sets New Record as the Highest Single-Day Grosser in Hindi, Surpassing Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’ and Other Films

Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release, ‘Jawan,’ has been creating waves at the box office since its debut on Thursday, September 7th. Directed by Atlee, the film achieved a global gross of over Rs 540 crore on its first Sunday and raked in Rs 287 crore at the Indian box office in just four days. Notably, ‘Jawan,’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara, also secured the title of the highest single-day grosser in the Hindi language, earning Rs 81 crore in a single day, as reported by sacnilk.com. The total collection for ‘Jawan’ now stands at Rs 85.10 crore, according to film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan. On Sunday, September 10th, ‘Jawan’ had a remarkable 70.77% Hindi occupancy, 53.71% Tamil occupancy, and 68.79% Telugu occupancy. The film also features Vijay Sethupathi in a negative role.

Jawan’s box office collections in India for the first four days are as follows:

Day 1: Rs 75 crore (with Rs 65 crore from the Hindi version alone)
Day 2: Rs 53 crore (with Rs 53 crore from the Hindi version alone)
Day 3: Rs 77.80 crore (with Rs 68.72 crore from the Hindi version alone)
Day 4: Rs 81 crore (with Rs 56 crore from the Hindi version alone)

As of the morning shows, ‘Jawan,’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, has garnered Rs 7 crore in advance bookings for its fifth day. A total of 18,044 shows and 291,696 tickets have been sold for Monday, as per estimates from sacnilk.com.

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, ‘Jawan’ also features Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Deepika Padukone in extended cameo roles. In this monster blockbuster, Shah Rukh Khan takes on a double role, playing an intelligence officer and a thief. The film offers more than just a compelling story, with impressive VFX. ‘Jawan’ was filmed across various locations, including Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan, and Aurangabad. The music of the movie is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
