JEE Advanced 2024: IIT Delhi Open House for Qualified Female and PwD Candidates

New Delhi : The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will host an Open House on June 18 for female and persons with disabilities (PwD) candidates who have qualified for JEE Advanced 2024. This event will be held in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person and online participation. Registration for the Open House is ongoing, with the event scheduled to run from 9 AM to 4 PM

The entire session will be streamed live on IIT Delhi’s official YouTube channel at youtube.com/c/IITDelhiOfficial.

Out of 42,947 female students who registered for JEE Advanced 2024, 41,020 appeared in both papers, with 7,964 qualifying. In the PwD category, 2,465 out of 2,632 registered students took both papers, and 594 qualified. Overall, 48,248 students, including 179 OCI and seven foreign students, have cleared JEE Advanced 2024.

The Open House is organized by IIT Delhi’s Initiative for Gender Equity and Sensitization (IGES) and the Office of Accessible Education (OAE). The event aims to promote diversity and gender equity, encouraging qualified candidates to consider joining IIT Delhi.

This one-day event will include interactive sessions, offering female and PwD candidates the chance to engage directly with deans and faculty members from various academic departments. Attendees can get their questions answered regarding programs and courses, and explore academic and career opportunities at IIT Delhi.

Additionally, the Open House will provide information on scholarships, fellowships, and other resources to support students’ academic journeys at the institute. Candidated will also will be able to talk and connect with the present students, who will share their experience in campus, other activites, and about all the facilities that are available for the students at IIT Delhi.
