Kangana Ranaut Expands Her Horizons, Launching ‘The Mountain Story’ Cafe in Manali

Manali: After being in the creating industry for quite some time now, Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut makes her foray into the food-and-beverage industry with the launch of a cafe in Manali, called The Mountain Story. Giving a sneak peek into her upcoming venture, Kangana shared on her Instagram that the cafe would likely open on 14th February 2025.
Dream Come True:
In a video posted on social media, Ranaut showed off an enticing and cozy atmosphere with wooden furniture, a cozy fireplace, and an outdoor seating area with stunning views of the Himalayan hills. The menu is a combined collection of traditional Pahadi dishes, inspired by her childhood, with modern favorites you would expect, such as pizza, pasta, salads, and cakes.
Kangana has expressed, “A child dream comes true, my little cafe of Himalayas; Mountain Story, a love story. #TheMountainStory Opening 14th February.”

Bouncing Back-Business Setbacks Include
This isn’t the first time that Kangana has attempted to enter the hospitality business. In March of 2023, she had wanted to open a restaurant in the valley but it faced some financial challenges, postponing the launch. The actress tweeted, “Cooking is very much on my agenda… had some financial setbacks last year, otherwise, I was all set to launch my restaurant in the valley. Will be coming soon though.”
Bollywood Stars foray in Food Industry
Thus, Kangana joins the ever-growing list of Bollywood celebrities that have set foot in the food and hospitality industry, mixing their passion for food with business. With The Mountain Story, Kangana endeavors to create that unique eating experience right in the heart of Himachal Pradesh.
