New Delhi: In one of the most scathing attacks by a BJP representative, Mandi Lok Sabha MP Kangana Ranaut sharply criticized Congress Rae Bareli MP Rahul Gandhi on Monday, August 12, following latest Hindenburg report concerning SEBI Chairperson, Madhabi Buch and her husband, Dhaval Buch.
The outspoken MP from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district condemned the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha for allegedly supporting the US-based short-seller Hindenburg’s report, accusing him of attempting to destabilize the nation’s security and economy.
Ranaut labeled Rahul Gandhi as “bitter, poisonous, and destructive,” asserting that the nation will never accept him as its leader.
Ranaut posted on X: “Rahul Gandhi is the most dangerous man; he is bitter, poisonous, and destructive. His agenda seems to be that if he cannot become the Prime Minister, he would rather destroy this nation. The Hindenburg report, which targeted our stock market and was endorsed by Rahul Gandhi last night, has proven to be a damp squib. He is trying everything to destabilize this nation, its security, and its economy. Mr. Gandhi, prepare yourself to remain in the opposition for the rest of your life, and as you suffer, be ready to witness the glory, growth, and nationalism of the people of this nation. They will never accept you as their leader. You are a disgrace. #HindenburgReport #SEBI.”
On Sunday, August 11, Rahul Gandhi raised concerns about SEBI’s operations in light of recent allegations against its chairperson, Madhabi Buch, made by Hindenburg Research.
The allegations suggest that Buch and her husband have interests in offshore funds allegedly involved in the Adani money-siphoning scandal. Gandhi also questioned whether the Supreme Court would take suo motu notice of the matter.
Both Madhabi Puri Buch and her husband, Dhaval Buch, have denied the accusations made in the Hindenburg Research report.
