The wife of well-known Kannada actor-director Vijay Raghavendra, named Spandana, passed away at the age of 44 in Bangkok. Spandana was on a trip to the capital city of Thailand with her cousins, and Vijay Raghavendra had joined them after finishing his filming commitments.
According to the family, Spandana went to sleep the previous night and did not wake up in the morning. It is believed that her death may have been caused by complications related to low blood pressure. Vijay Raghavendra contacted his brother Sri Murali from Bangkok to share the news.
Spandana was the daughter of retired police officer B K Shivaram and the niece of Congress MLC B K Hariprasad. She had made a guest appearance in the movie “Apoorva.” Hariprasad mentioned that they suspect it might have been a heart attack that led to Spandana not waking up in the morning.
The Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, and many others expressed their shock and offered condolences for her untimely demise.
