Bollywood icons Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, along with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, are on their way to the capital to extend a personal invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the upcoming Raj Kapoor Centenary Film Festival. The event will honor the legendary actor-director’s 100th birth anniversary and his invaluable contributions to Indian cinema.
The festival, set to take place on December 14, will feature screenings of Raj Kapoor’s most celebrated films. It aims to pay homage to the cinematic genius whose work has left an indelible mark on the industry, offering fans a chance to revisit and celebrate his timeless art.
Ranbir Kapoor, Raj Kapoor’s grandson, and his wife Alia Bhatt have taken an active role in ensuring the celebrations reflect the legacy of one of Bollywood’s greatest icons.
Joining Ranbir and Alia on this special journey are Kareena Kapoor Khan, Raj Kapoor’s granddaughter, and her husband Saif Ali Khan. The family’s involvement highlights the unity and pride they feel in commemorating the legacy of the Kapoor patriarch.
The stars were spotted at a private airport earlier today, dressed with understated elegance. Ranbir opted for a classic black outfit, while Alia donned a striking red saree. Kareena looked radiant in a red suit with delicate floral designs, and Saif kept it traditional with a white kurta-pajama paired with a brown sleeveless jacket.
