Kapoor sisters’ furry friends: meet the adorable dogs of Janhvi & Khushi

Bollywood’s Kapoor sisters, Janhvi and Khushi, are not just known for their films but also for their love for dogs. In a recent interview with Curly Tales, Khushi Kapoor shared that their home is filled with five adorable dogs, each with its own unique personality and charm.

Khushi’s Furry Friends

Khushi, who has a soft spot for small breeds, owns two dogs—Panda, a Yorkshire Terrier, and Mochi, a Havanese.

Yorkshire Terrier (Panda): Originally bred in England to hunt rats in textile mills, Yorkies may be tiny but have big personalities. They are energetic, fearless, and highly devoted to their owners. Their silky coats and affectionate nature make them perfect companion dogs.

Havanese (Mochi): This breed originates from Cuba and is known for being affectionate, playful, and intelligent. Havanese dogs have soft, flowing coats and love being the center of attention. Fun fact: They were once popular circus performers due to their ability to learn tricks quickly!

Janhvi’s Big Dog Squad

Janhvi, on the other hand, has a fondness for large and majestic breeds. She owns three big dogs—an American Akita, a Golden Retriever, and an Alaskan Malamute.

American Akita (Saitama): This strong and loyal breed originally comes from Japan. Akitas are known for their protective nature, intelligence, and calm demeanor. Despite their large size, they form deep bonds with their families and are gentle with their loved ones.

Golden Retriever: One of the most popular family dogs, Golden Retrievers are friendly, obedient, and loving. They were originally bred for retrieving game during hunting but are now known for their intelligence and affectionate nature. These dogs are great with children and thrive on companionship.

Alaskan Malamute: This powerful breed was originally used as a sled dog in Arctic regions, known for its endurance and strength. Alaskan Malamutes are highly energetic, friendly, and independent. Their thick double coats protect them from harsh weather, making them well-suited for colder climates.

The Kapoor sisters, daughters of the late Bollywood legend Sridevi, share a deep love for animals. Their dogs are more than just pets—they are cherished members of the family, bringing joy, warmth, and unconditional love into their home.

Khushi made her Hindi film debut with The Archies and is now set to release Loveyapa today, opposite Junaid Khan. She will also be seen in the upcoming Netflix romantic drama Nadaaniyan, alongside Ibrahim Ali Khan, who is making his debut.

Janhvi was last seen in Devara: Part 1, an action thriller opposite South superstar NTR Jr. She has exciting projects ahead, including Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
